No. 1

There’s nothing I can say to change your life.

There’s nothing I can say to get you up and into the gym.

There’s nothing I can write to nudge you into chasing your dreams.

There’s nothing I can possibly do to inspire change in you.

I can merely assist, cheer on and encourage.

But you can only cheer on someone in the race. What about someone not?

What about someone who wants to race. Someone who trains for it, but can’t ultimately do it because of fear and doubt.

Do we give up on someone like that?

Wasted potential. Distinguished ambitions. Destroyed dreams.

Why? Because they needed more than encouragement? Because they needed more than a hug or a pat on the back? Because they wanted someone to race with them?

Of all the busy things you had to do this year. From working to drinking with friends to painting your house and playing video games, did they ask for too much?

“Be the change you want to see”

  1. No you can’t do it for them. But be steady presence, don’t give up, keep encouraging. If and when they hit that magic moment when they SEE they can, they will tap into the flow.

For years I was afraid. I am so thankful for the people who were there when I decided to believe in my dreams.
