Warning: reality ahead

—————————————————————Warning———————————————————–

The follow is written by a 20 year male whose completely lost in his life

—————————————————————-Reality————————————————————-

Reality is, you are fat and people do make fun of you behind your back and your huge stomach or triple chin is not comforting to look at.

Reality is, you are skinny and weak and can’t protect yourself or your loved ones and you’ll be completely helpless if someone you care about is in danger.

Reality is, life isn’t that bad. You just think it does because you want something to blame other than yourself for why your life sucks.

Reality is, you can chase a high paying job and live for money, but if you’re mean and selfish, everyone you care about will leave and that money will never make you happy.

Reality is, no one cares about your life, your success, or your wellbeing, expect your family and girlfriend and maybe a best friend. You’re not worth everyone else’s time.Β

Reality is, when you see others doing great things with their life and you think to yourself (I can do that), you actually can. But you never will because of that thinking.Β

Reality is, you can live life fully or not.Β Time flies the same no matter what you do, but it slows down at certain times for those that love, smile, explore…

Reality is, I want to hurt your feelings. I want to tell you what you need to hear.

Because it just might change your life and bring the change you want.Β

If that makes me a meanie head, so be it. Someone needs to do it.

Hoping I scared you a little, Happy Monday πŸ™‚

  1. Sorry I do not believe those statements are true. I am one of those β€œother people” and I really do care about the life of every one of my friends, my family, my church family. I believe a lot of people care about each one of us. I also am neither too fat or too skinny. Yes I am 20 pounds overweight but I am okay with that. I do not make fun of β€œfat” people and I have never heard anyone make fun of fat people. Someone ran a marathon and I want to run a race even though I am a former couch potato, I have never been in a race, I am soon going to be 57, and I am overweight. It is very very hard but I keep running, training for my race. I will do it. I think your blog is mean, negative and simply not true. I am just being honest with you.

    1. Exactly the case. It’s like I said, if I pissed off 100 readers but sparked some sort of change in their lives, that’s all that matters to me. Thanks for stopping by, I checked out your blog. Good stuff but make sure to proof read and double check your writing for errors πŸ™‚

    1. I’m glad I made it somewhat relatable πŸ™‚ I had to think to myself that there are only two ways to inspire someone. 1. They find it in themselves and change alone or 2. Someone tells them exactly what they hear. Nudging or pushing someone isn’t enough as I’ve experienced first hand πŸ™‚ Thanks for stopping by, I checked your blog out and followed, I love your ending to the second blog “Just saying” (really creative) πŸ™‚ If you liked this post, make sure to follow for more and I’ll do my best to make more relatable posts πŸ™‚

  3. I love this so much! Been through a lot this past year but my positive outlook on life has definitely helped ☺️ it’s always important to appreciate the little things in life and not expect anything from anyone! 😝

    1. Exactly! Reality is, only a few people in life will truly care about you and it’s totally fair. Everyone else has their own life and own challenges. Find who truly loves you and cares for you and work your way around that πŸ™‚ I checked your blog out and followed, I love your Valentine Day post. You take amazing pictures πŸ™‚ Can I suggest more cooking or baking blogs? That pic looks delicious πŸ™‚

    1. I’m steering away from “being you”. Of course I want that but I say that in every other of my posts. Someone can be happy on the outside, but let’s say an obese man will never truly be happy inside because he will always have to wake up and look in the mirror and be hit with his reality. He will have health problems, he will feel terrible (physically and mentally) and he won’t tell anyone the truth (except for those that really love him). I believe looking good is feeling, confidence is very important and health governs above all. Now don’t get me wrong, I’m not saying someone skinny or obese shouldn’t focus on being themselves. They should 100% but they should also be told truthfully and be shown that someone else cares for their well-being besides their family. Me. I checked out and followed your blog, very interesting ending, showing your traffic. I can respect that πŸ™‚

  4. Very interesting and inspiring post πŸ™‚ I think I agree with most of these. When you do what you love time sometimes slows down but sometimes it feels like it passes by even quicker than normally (it’s called flow, I guess) πŸ˜‰

    1. Yea that is true. I think when it slows down is when we’re working yet enjoying what we do and speeds up when we’re completely having fun. It also slows down in times when we experience new things *hint hint* πŸ˜‰ Thanks for stopping by and thanks for the kind words πŸ™‚

      1. No problem:) thats interesting what you’ve written in reply. I think it may also depend on a person. Ive read some time ago somewhere that all nice moments pass so/too quickly while things like dentist appointment, a boring work, neetibg with a boss you dont like and are afraid off- these things feel like they take ages.. But on the other hand, these negative moments may feel this way because while we are waiting for them/getting prepared we already feel anxious/sad/frustrated hours or days earlier and we think of these much longer. Human beings have rather a tendency to think negatively and we need reminders to stop worrying sometimes. Yes, more posts like that Mr Mzukowski! πŸ™‚

      2. I have a theory that moments like those are long so that we can reflect on them and figure out how to avoid them because they are definitely avoidable. Thanks for taking the time to stop by and comment πŸ™‚ I’ll do my best to keep posting good content πŸ™‚

      3. Ive just realised I wrote neetibg with a boss lol meeting of course:) some things arent avoidable. Women who want children and are pregnant. They wont be able to avoid labour πŸ˜‚dentist appt – not always possible to avoid neither. You like your work but suddenly your company has some financial problems and have to fire a few people including all in you.. Everyone has to manage a death of a friend or a close relative sooner or later.. There always will be negative events and situations in our lives but the plus is that we can choose what our reaction is, how we cope even if initially it includes a great deal of suffering. There is a saying that fear of suffering is bigger than suffering itself. There is something true about that. πŸ€” take care x

      5. You’re right of course, there are some unavoidable ultimatums that will hit everyone eventually one day (death, work crisis etc). I guess my post focused on the day in day out problems, how we choose to react to the small crisis will strengthen our character for the big ones. Thanks for bringing this up πŸ™‚
